DK Potato Chips - Purple

No reviews

Made from naturally purple potatoes from the same Otway farm, kettle cooked with their skins on so they hold onto every bit of their colour and character. Deep violet, lightly salted and a little bit wow, these are the ones that get passed around the table first.

DK's Potato Chips are grown, sliced, kettle cooked and packed on the Scott family farm at Gerangamete, deep in Victoria's Otway Ranges.

Peter and Sandra Scott are third generation potato growers who spent more than a decade perfecting how to grow and cook chips from their own specialty varieties, in a purpose built factory right on the farm. We know the dedication behind these chips because it mirrors our own growers, and they are the only chips we sell.

The colour is entirely natural. These chips are made from DK's own purple fleshed potato varieties and the purple comes from anthocyanins, the same plant pigments that colour blueberries. Kettle cooked skins on, they hold their remarkable colour all the way to the bowl.

The colour makes them the conversation starter of any grazing board. If you love these purple chips you'll love our purple potatoes like Purple Sapphire, Purple Bliss and Midnight Pearl.
