You'll see a few shipping options at checkout. And while they all have their pros and cons, you can choose based on your preference. If you only see one option, it's the only carrier suitable for your area. Note that once the potatoes leave our door their safety is in the hands of a third party, but we do everything we can to ensure their journey is smooth and they arrive when you need them.

Our most consistent option overall. Dropped at a business centre so it’s scanned and into the network immediately, generally faster and more predictable.

We protect quality over speed. For interstate and regional orders, we may hold dispatch to avoid parcels sitting in a depot over the weekend. Potatoes arriving in great condition matters more to us than shaving off a day.

Most of Australia (with a few exceptions)

We currently don't ship to Western Australia, Tasmania or South Australia, due to fresh produce biosecurity rules. Opening these states up matters to us, and we're working through the compliant pathways to get there.

Potatoes don't run on a strict use by date. Stored well, they can keep for up to 4 weeks.

Shelf life depends on the variety, the timing of the season, and how you look after them at home.

Most orders are packed and dispatched within 1–2 business days, depending on harvest timing and order volume. Because potatoes are fresh produce, we sometimes hold orders placed later in the week until the following week, rather than risk them sitting in a depot over the weekend.

If only one carrier shows up, it means that’s the only service suitable for your location. Where we can, we offer a choice between a more reliable option (Australia Post) and more cost effective couriers.

No. Potatoes travel best dry and at a stable temperature, packed with airflow in recyclable cardboard cartons. Refrigeration and sealed plastic actually harm them, so we pack to protect against heat, light and moisture instead.

We ship across most of Australia, but currently not to Western Australia, Tasmania or South Australia due to fresh produce biosecurity requirements. We’re actively working on compliant pathways to open these up.

Open the box as soon as it lands. Keep the potatoes in their paper bags (or you can move them to an alternative breathable container or bag) and store them somewhere cool and dark, like a pantry. Don’t refrigerate them, and keep them away from moisture and sealed plastic.

Get in touch with your order details and a photo or two if you can. We review and respond quickly, if there’s rot or noticeable quality loss, we typically refund without a fuss, and often add a credit toward your next order.

If the issue is something that happened during transit you may need to resolve this directly with the shipping partner, but we will do what we can to help resolve it with them.

Potatoes are heavy, and fresh produce can’t be compressed or flat packed.

On larger interstate orders, carrier costs can climb. We’re always working to keep freight as fair as possible while making sure your spuds arrive in great shape.
