Mayan Twilight Potatoes

It’s difficult to find interesting varieties of potatoes so I was excited to discover Spud Sisters’ range.. The Mayan Twilights have good flavour - quite a dry yellow flesh - are yummy baked and slathered in loads of butter - would make a great buttery mash. Will make duck fat roasties with the remainder. The spuds I received weren’t as colourful as the ones in the photo above. Faultless service from Spud Sisters.

Really good quality potatoes. Bit of a floury texture but not unpleasant. Probably great for roasting. They cook a bit quicker than I expected so keep an eye on them when you're first cooking.

I haven’t tried the jewel in the crown (maris piper) yet but the others are wonderful. All new varieties to me but stunning flavours.
